These are the two words we hear the most from people who come to visit Freedom! We are far from perfect, but we want to make sure that you have an incredible experience here. That means you will be welcomed with a smile and handshake, hug, or high five, and that you are going to be embraced by people who are authentic and genuinely care about your life! It can be hard going to a new place for the first time, but rest assured, all we want for you is to feel loved and wanted, known and heard. We want you to experience who Jesus really is, and that starts with a warm welcome and a smile! Coffee helps, too!
Your kids matter, too!
At Freedom, children are a top priority. Our Kid’s Ministry is for kids ages birth – 6th grade, where they experience Jesus on their level! This isn’t babysitting. Your kiddos will not only get top-notch care from our trained team, but they will get to learn the Bible, interact with fun games and activities that reinforce biblical truths, and learn Bible stories that will help them develop a relationship with God. We want to train up our kids in the way they should go as the Bible tells us, and not only do we see that as a responsibility, but also an incredible privilege!
Impactful services!
Our Sunday services last about 75 minutes and are a combination of modern, high-energy, inspiring, and passionate worship, as well as a practical, relevant, and engaging messages based on biblical truths and topics that are pertinent to our lives and culture. It is so important to understand the doctrine and theology, but just as important are practical ways you can actually walk out what you are learning. We do all of this with humor and encouragement, but always with truth and grace hand in hand. Authentic relationships with God and his people, real and regular experiences with the Holy Spirit, and lasting freedom. That is what we’re after. We want to do everything we can to help you be developed into everything God created you to be.
Pastors Jason and Monique Cowart
Pastors Jason and Monique have such a huge heart for the people of Liberty County and all they want is to see God’s best in your life. One of Pastor Jason’s former mentors told him something one time that he’s kept with him and strives to accomplish in the people of Freedom Church today: “My role is to help you reach your highest potential in Christ Jesus.” That is why Freedom exists and why our pastors work so hard to create teams who create environments to see people experience the beauty of a relationship with God. Be sure to connect with them on Sundays immediately following service. If it is your first time, they have a special gift for you at the coffee bar!
