This process at Freedom consists of several steps we want to see every person take simply because these steps will help you make the most of your relationships with God, his people, and his body, the church. These steps will help empower you to become the person God has called you to be and give you the encouragement to step into God’s plan for your life.
Everyone is at a different place in their relationship with God and his people. That is ok! The important thing is that we are moving forward with God and that our lives are becoming more and more a reflection of Jesus Christ.
At Freedom, we have seven steps we want to see everyone take. Some of these steps are super quick and some of them can take the rest of your life! However, all of them are designed to help you reach your highest potential in Christ Jesus.
This is where everything begins. It isn’t the endzone, it is the line of scrimmage. You will never take a better step than saying yes to Jesus! If you’ve recently made Jesus Lord, or if you want more info about how to do that, let’s go!
If you’ve said yes to Jesus, then baptism is your next step! This is more than just telling people you’ve received Jesus, this is burying the old nature to walk in new life! Baptism doesn’t save us, but baptism is important to you becoming who God made you to be.
Open House is where you can learn more about Freedom Church – our vision, our team, and how you can be a part of it all. Open House is also an opportunity that gives our pastors, staff and attendees a chance to get to know one another on a personal level and ask questions about Freedom. This is the perfect opportunity to hear how we have gotten to where we are now and what role you can play in the future.
Serving is a part of the core of who we are at Freedom and is much more than filling a slot in a volunteer sheet. Serving immerses people into development and empowerment that will not only help them serve at their highest capacity, but that will help them walk out their purpose. We’re never more like Jesus than when we are serving. Join the mission today!
Life change happens in the context of relationships. Meetups are designed to help people connect, grow, and enjoy life together! We know life can be challenging sometimes, but we weren’t meant to do life alone. From sports to Bible studies to hobbies, there’s a meetup for you!
Step six is one of those steps that can take a lifetime, and that is ok. This step isn’t about completing a task, but rather, about helping you become the you God sees. We all need help. We all need guidance. Freedom is committed to helping you by proving authentic pastoral care and biblical advice as you need it.
